But do be aware that all the equipment we sell and support at LRS UK uses a different frequency for transmission than those cheap Chinese pagers that are often for sale on eBay and other retail websites. Those types of products are limited in the amount of power they are allowed to transmit by OFCOM here in the United Kingdom. In fact on those
systems output is just 10 milliwatts. What's scary, is that those cheap systems use exactly the same frequencies as a car remote! and you have guessed it - that's about how far they can cover for range. Our systems on the other hand are allowed to transmit up to 2 Watts (up to 2 miles in open air) because we use the correct frequency for the products we sell. Range on our equipment is substantially better than those cheap systems and always will be. We cost more, but that is simply because the power transistors and other parts cost more for higher output products that we manufacture.

Also note, that our systems and solutions do NOT need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to operate. There are many call points on the market that do need other underlying systems to operate. The problem with those of course is that if the underlying service is somehow compromised by poor signal then their systems will stop working! It's something you really don't need with emergency systems or first aid call buttons. The LRS solutions use RF technology rather like two-way radios and they don't need anything else to work properly. We can extend the range substantially for up to two miles in open air with our signal boost repeaters!

We do supply two-way radios from brands like Motorola, Entel, iCOM, Hytera and Opus but also many other brands. For accessories we can supply genuine of OEM, but we do make our own earpieces and microphones for many models that are of the highest quality - just ask us for a no-cost sample!
